Grain Size Reclassifyer
Abstract
Grainsize and soil texure data can be expressed accoring to different classification schemes. The GRASI-Tool allows to reclassify data from one scheme to another. Currently the following schemes are supported:
Grain size classification:
- AG Boden (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Boden, Germany)
- Phi scale
- USDA: US Departement of Agriculture
- ISSS: International Society of Soil Science
Soil texture classification:
- German soil texture classification (according to DIN4220)
- USDA: United States Departement of Agriculture
- FAO: Food and Agriculture Organization of the United States
Further schemes can easily be generated by the user using a standard text editor.
