The Division of Technology Transfer belongs to the Department of Research and Career with RWTH Aachen Central University Administration.

 

Entrepreneurial Transfer at RWTH Aachen

To us at RWTH Aachen the term transfer means that ideas, knowledge, technology, and people are continuously exchanged not only within the university, but also with partner organizations, social groups, and industry partners. RWTH Innovation GmbH was founded in 2017 with the aim of bringing all transfer activities at the university together in an entrepreneurial environment and serving as a central contact point for all those involved in the transfer process. In order to advance the various transfer processes in a targeted manner, the Division of Technology Transfer works in close cooperation with RWTH Innovation GmbH. The core task of the division lies in the official administrative processing of employee invention processes. RWTH Innovation focuses on supporting the development of innovation projects.
